Hello, i purchased swap magic 3.6 there and it says that i am able to boot games from the usb connection on the ps2. I have a external usb hard drive which i am going to put the games onto. How do i do this? do i put the iso files on ? or just a folder with the files ? what else do i need for the ps2 to recognise the hard drive through usb ? which formats should i make it all? can anyone help me please ! it would be much appreciated !

SKSApps.com download USB Advance then put a folder on your USB HD named SWAPMAGIC and put the USB Advance ELF in there and rename it SMBOOT0 but make sure to format your HD to FAT32 and get USB Extreme tools to install the games on your HD: http://www.hdadvance.com/download/USBExtreme_wininst.zip

when i go to sksapps i notice that usbadvance is designed for use with ps2 v1-12 i have the new flip top slim line, is this higher than version 12 if so what is the program i need for that version ?

My hard drive is in format of fat32 already and has other stuff on it which i do not want to lose so would it still work if i put the swap magic folder on it

Where abouts do i install the games to just a folder called the games name ? or just to the hd on its own ?

Hello, Got a bit of progress now, done what you said in the instructions, put the file in SWAPMAGIC, got the usbextreme download and put athens2004 onto the hard drive, boot up the ps2 using swap magic, the normal screen comes up there, what is it i do now? i pressed up+l1 and this loaded the usbextreme program and gave me the list of the game i had on , i select it and press x, the hd flases a couple of times then does nothing and the game does not load. What way am i meant to get usbextereme to load is this correct any ideas why the game would not be work if it is ?? Any help would be appreciated

You did everything perfect! It just USB Extreme/USB Advance is hardly combatable with any games and if they do work them the movie scences are choppy.
