Hello people, I am a newbie to the forum and was hoping i would be able to pick some of ur highly intelligent brains( flattery gets u everywhere :op )
I have just purchased a jvc dvd recorder with a 260 mb hdd. I was under the impression that i would be able to record original dvds to the hard drive and then burn them onto a dvd. From the looks of things though this doesnt look possible. Could anyone confirm this as i have spent the last 3 hours going through all the functions to try and get it to do this but have gotten no where. If this is not a possibilty would connecting my spare dvd player somehow make it possible. My train of thought there is that if u can record video tape from an external video player to the hard drive can u not do that with a dvd? Any help would be appreciated as it has definately rained on my parade of gettin a new dvd recorder. Cheers in advance to anyone who replies :o)

p.s to any smarty pants, yes i have read the instruction manual but unfortunately i dont have a phd in electronics so is all jargon to me lol
