Crop size for Cucusoft Converter

Looking for a little expert advice. What is the best crop size to set a widescreen video for when converting DVD to mp4 using Cucusoft software? Just downloaded the software and I am not sure if I should go with; Keep Aspect Ratio, Medium, Pan Scan, Stretch to Fit, or Custom. Hell, I'm not even sure what the difference is. Thanks for the advice.

You'd better set "Crop mode" to "Keep Aspect Ratio" when you rip widescreen DVD or other DVD movies. You will also get widescreen mp4 video if you set to "Keep Aspect Ratio". In fact, when you set "crop mode" to different value, the preview window will display the screen effect. Have a look at the guide http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/253137
