HELLO BOLDBABY,

CLONING THE REPLAY LITE

Simply plug in the set up (master) box ? attach a null modem cable to the back. Take the new box, put it on top of the master, plug in the null modem lead THEN FINALLY plug the power into the second unit. It will then start cloning from the master. The red/green will flash. Red ? green slowly
When the red/green light starts blinking very rapidly ? it?s cloned IMPORTANT UNPLUG THE CLONED BOX FIRST

HOPE IT WORKS FOR YOU.

Hiya there, I have been looking for a Serial Null Cable Modem 9-Pin Female to 9-Pin Female in the search engine and have noticed that the connections at the back of my pc and RL are both different sizes. Do they come in different sizes as i don't want to go out and get one if it won't fit...ty Lynn

LynnA,

Has the connections on the back of your PC got pins sticking out of it? If it has is there 25 of them? it sounds like a 25 pin Serial connector. It must be a pretty old PC?

Are you sure you're not mixing them up with printer or monitor ports?

I,m not doubting you but I'd say you miscounted ;-) they can be only 9 - 15 or 25 pin. Anyway it sounds like ypu may have the 25 Pin serial port & if you do you can get a 25 to 9 Pin converter or a 25 to 9 cable.

You could also go with the USB to 9 pin

You can see a picture of the 25 to 9 connector here:

If you have already done a scan and the channel names were already showing on you box but were scrambled then you shouldn't have to do a scan again. But if you ahven't scanned before you will have to. Its not difficult. Will only take a couple of mins.
