Greetings everyone!
I am currently using DVD43 and was thinking about upgrading to ANYDVD because I get stuck with some back-ups. The we site charges $39 and I was wondering, before I waste some $$, is it worth it?

You will NOT be sorry if you make the purchase. If you do then dont have both progs running together.

Any dvd worths every penny you pay for it.Its the only program that i can happily say that i dont regret buying.Honestly.When i bought it i had DVD43,then i had to uninstall AnyDVD to uninstall DVD43 and then reinstall AnyDVD.They have issues running at same time.

I am wondering if some of the trouble I have had with back-ups ( freezing or skipping mid movie or getting encryption errors when I start the rip process) would be corrected with AnyDVD?

I think it will.I never had any trouble so far.
By the way i wanted to make sure you know this as well. When you are ripping, encoding or burning your dvds dont multitask your pc.Just let it do its job.Hope it helps. :-)

Could be a media problem, use good quality media such as Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden, burn at around 4x and DONT use Memorex. Cheers.

Any Dvd is certainly worth every penny.
If I can learn here so can you.
Search first, then ask. Words to live by.

anydvd is the shiznit...i had some trouble with freezing and skipping. i was using a emerson dvd/vcr combo fairly new i might add..and was using taiyo media...i tried everything, firmware, different media, burn speeds, settings, ect.
so i went and bought another dvd player today,,a cheap $29 job from the dollar store...and guess what?.. all the backup dvd's that were skipping..did not skip in the new unit....i had trouble in the emerson and a SV2000 dvd/vcr combo i got from walmart...just wanted to point out some trial and error i went through...and dont forget CloneDVD ,another great program as well.

The AnyDVD discount code was to type "afterdawn" in the space for promotional code, but I don't know whether this deal is on all the time or has expired.

The deal comes and goes. Good things may come to those who wait. If they can't wait, it will be $10 more, I guess. Still worth the money!
