Hi! I'm new here and have been using dvd shrink for about a year now and tonight I tried to use it and this is what I got when I tried to back it up.

"Dvd Shrink encountered an error and cannot continue.
Not enough space on your target drive.
The system cannot find the patch specified."

How can I get more space. The dvd is over 4 MB but there is only a bit over 2 MB in the folder. I've never had this problem before. thanks!

Welcome to aD!
Well it sounds like shrink can't handle this movie. This is one of the errors it's gives when that happens. It can no longer handle the newer copy protections. So you'll need to help it out some.
Rip the files w/ dvdfab decrypter then process as usually thru shrink or download a 21 free trial of AnyDVD - it's a driver that runs in the backgound. Have it running and use shrink as usual.

I'm getting the "out of virtual memory error" from DVD Shrink. I only get this on some movies and only recently since I've been using AnyDVD. Can some one help?

assuming you have XP... try this..
1. Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
2. Click Performance and Maintenance, and then click System.
3. On the Advanced tab, under Performance, click Settings.
4. On the Advanced tab, under Virtual memory, click Change.
5. Under Drive [Volume Label], click the drive that contains the paging file that you want to change.
6. Under Paging file size for selected drive, click to select the System managed size check box, and then click Set.
7. Click OK three times.

When you are prompted to restart the computer, click Yes.
