Recently I bought a Maxtor 160 Gig hard drive to fit into my Xbox. I've literally tried everything. I've tried three different methods, and three different tutorials.

Both methods didn't work for me, I'm stuck at making the boot disc, on both of them. I've tried different media, I've tried different burning applications, I've even tried my freinds burner.
I've made sure that when I burn them they're ISO's, it's at the lowest possible burning speed, and that I have all the needed files.
This is really frustrating/sadening because of all the time and money I've put into this for it to not work. If anyone could help me out in ANY way it will be greatly appreciated.

I cant really help.Those links that you posted are not right.You didnt need to write ([url]) on them.Anything starting by http will be automaticaly put up as a link.Please be patient and im sure someone will help you.We can always get good help from here.Im sorry if i dont have a solution.By the way i`ve been reading those tutorials and they got plenty of info.If you followed them i cant see where you failed.
If you have a modchip in you xbox then that's good. you are probably getting error16 right? If you got error16 then a boot disk will not work. to bypass error 16 flash you modchip with a bios that has error 16 fix (xecuter2 4980 and 4981) have this option. make sure you chip can support the bios. after you flash the chip and turn the xbox back on you should get an error 13 message. put in slayer2.6 into dvd drive.if it doesn't start up turn off the Xbox with the disc in the drive and turn it back on.
download slayer's evox autoinstaller 2.6. unpack it and burn the ISO onto a [disc follow the instruction that came with Slayer2.6 pdf file] different brands and different media types work on different drives. this auto installer will reformat you new HDD. enjoy.
