DEFINITELY!!!

Taiyo Yuden and Verbatim are second to none!!! Not to say that you will not have success with the Ridata... I ordered 200 TY -R 8X inkjet printables from there just moments ago...

@hoppnjoe
As teflonmyk said definitely!! I've used the Ridata & Ritek also - a few problems so switched to TY.
I use TY almost exclusively - maybe 5% verb's.

@teflonmyk
I ordered 200 of those myself + 200 silver thermal ones also yesterday. Great sale they're having and since I ran out decided to stock up a bit.

I hear ya... I have 100 +R TY, 20 or so -R TY, 125 +R Verbs, and 20 +R Maxell (MIJ) on hand right now (all inkjet printable). Those 200 -R TY will hold me until I run across a deal too good to pass up!!! LOL

I should be okay on media for a while now>>>

hoppnjoe,
I shop myself at Supermediastore, those are excellent media. I use exclusively TY and Verbatim now. Years ago I started out with TDK then switched to Ritek/Ridata based on some forum recommendations and reviews. I had no problems ever burning those disks. But after a while I realized that all my Riteks are pure crap. The TDK are still ok. The Riteks deteriorate very quickly. Some in as little as a few months after burning. So no more Ritek for me. As you observed the pice is the same for the TY, so why take a chance.
