okay i heard almost everyone who has this chip has some sort of problem!
im basically a noob to all this and had tons of help from my friend who has his xbox modded. but my problem is different from wat i have read about. my problem is basically my chip wont stay booted up on my xbox. i have checked my pogo pins and they are touching the MB no problem. i switched out the original screw that came with the chip cuz it didnt work and neither did the screw that was on the board, so i use an screw that fit. Also i have checkd my wires to make sure that they were in the vias. ive tried "squeezing" the chip to make sure it connects right, but no use. for some reason it just doesnt stay booted long enough for me to copy games or have it networked to my xbox to transfer files, but i have edited my evox file. Everything boots up and loads right like it should but i would say it stays on for about 15 to 20 mins at a time before it shuts down and then my LED begins to flash orange on the front of my xbox. ive tried pretty much every forum there is to find help but it seems that i only have this problem and everyone elses has other problems similar to someone else but me. ive called and ask for tech help but thats useless since they direct me back to the site saying that it was installation error. but it gets power, since the LED on the chip is lit, i know it works cuz Evolution-x boots up and i have used to edit my evox file when i ftp'd into it. i figure anyone here could help me or at least give me some kind of clue of wat to do!
