Hi! Last night i had my psp plugged into the computer via usb and i was playing around wiv the music on my comupter. I have just turned on my psp to discover that i have gone from about 655mb to 265mb. I hav no idea how to get the memory back. Plz help! There is no more music on the psp file than there was before. Help!! Thanks Chloe

urm well if you dont no what that other data is, why dont you just format your memory stick, minding though u copy and save the data you want. or you could tell us how big ur mp3s are?

easy go in to your psp and click saved data and drag the files on to your desktop

lol that happend to me before 2 ,,just plug your psp into your computer (make sure all music players are closed before pluging your psp into computer)and search all your psp files from your computer to try and find those songs..i found mine in a new folder on psp..just delete them when you find them and your psp will have most of its memory back

The PSP interoperates with PCs just by standard USB mass starage device protocols. Just plug it in with a mini2 usb cable and in the main icon there is th eusb mode setting.

In My Computer it will open the memory stick inside the PSP and you can investigate from the root where and what is ocnsuming you storage space.

I have the updated firmware 2.6 I dont' use homebrew or anythign like that. I use bitlord on my comp to get music for it and just rip DVD to H.264 for videos. I prefer having RSS feeds and being able to play th enew online games online. Srry, can't help :(
