I've been buying the Maxell black dvd cases at Wal-Mart for about $4.25 for a pack of 10. Obviously, this is a waste of money but I've been forced to because I haven't had a credit card to order online.
Are the Supermediastore black cases as good as the Wal-Mart ones?
Reviews vary as to their qaulity, thickness, and breakability.
For $25.00 per pack of 100 ( .25 a piece) with FREE shipping it sounds good. I just don't wanna get 30 cracked cases out of 100 and them break apart in my hand. Any advice on these or other choices? I want as close to store cases as possible.

I sent one of those MC gift cards to my son for Xmas he used it to buy AnyDVD and TY's from supermediastore, such a good kid. I have never found supermediastore to sell substandard merchandise, may be just me, but they are probably the equivalent to the ones from WalMart. If you have a problem they will take them back.

Ive used those Maxell cases from Walmart and agree there a little to pricey. If you have a Staples keep an eye out for there Brand to be on sale. They seem to be a little better quality to me I bought the 25 packs around Christmas they had them on sale for $8.99 I used Staples $3.00 ink voucher total price was $5.99 plus tax.

Hi there,
I never buy media from a store that sells bras and underwear :)
I'm in Canada, so I get all Taiyo Yuden from http://www.blankmedia.ca and never get a bad surprise, just GOOD surprises.
Ordered some TYG01, and received some TYG03, that was a good surprise :)

Hey customguy - I just received some cases from Shop4Tech.com and am very pleased with them. They were packed nicely - no breakage. Price-wise they were cheaper than Meritline.com at the time, although I don't remember if I shopped Supermediastore. I got 50 Slim-Doubles for 15.50 and 25 4-Disc-Overlays for 18.00, both with free shipping. The 4-Disc-Overlays are the same quality as what you get with original DVD. The Slim-Doubles are a little flimsy, as are ALL slim cases I have ever seen, but no problems with breaking thus far.
Just thought I'd give you another option. Good Luck!

customguy- no credit card no money No problem !
It's called Blockbuster Video - You can Either go in the store and ask for cases or go behind or on the side or wherever their dumpster is and dig ( The fun method ) I have gotten hundreds od cases this way ( Not all at once ) and all they cost me was a little dumpster diving & gas to get there ! Some cases are doubles , Some are the Booger Green game cases, some are the lockable type (RenTal Cases) and some are the same ones that dvd's come in at any store like WALLYWORDd ! In addition I've found VHs movies & DVD's That are intact & Undestroyed while diving ! Be warned though that Diving for cases can be as addictive as peanuts once you start you wont want to stop! Just a idea to keep in mind ! DVD CASES ( GOTTA GET "EM ALL !!) lol! Happy Bunting!

Customguy - We use the 1/2 size's (slims) and save some space, Office Depot or Max has the slim DVD cases for $24.99 buy one get one free or just the regular 12.99 for 50/case
Bigto - is right. We rent from blockbustr and always get free cases from the clerk, some singles occasional double but the slim cases take up less room. :)
