Whats your opinion on the programs to check for errors that exist? I know that there's DvDInfoPro, dvdidentifier(is this just for the manufacturer?), and Nero and maybe the VSO Inspector(if this is actually the same...I'm unsure). Am I missing any? Also, if this was the wrong forum to post to I apologize.

Seems most use the Nero CD/DVD Speed tool and DVDInfo Pro for those that can't use the Nero version. I've got both....just the silly things won't work on my LG's :(

If and when they did work for you is there much of a difference between the 2? I'm leaning towards InfoPro because of the ripping and burning software I already have I'm happy with them. Unnnnnless I should start thinking about Nero? Whats your thoughts please.

Heck, you can take a look for yourself :)

Nero DVD/CD speed:

DVDInfo (Trial version):

And just for your viewing pleasure, here's some screenshots:

Nero DVD/CD speed:

DVDInfo:

The Nero tool is free, and the trial version of DVDInfo is free. Both work and do the same thing :)

Nope, never used vso. Been happy enough with the results I've gotten (thus far anyway) with the other two proggys.

You can see if cougar_ii knows. He's into VSO.
