Hi, I've read though many of the posts but couldn't find one that applied to my particular case so please help. I want to play an original japanese format game(Narutultimate Hero 3). I have a slimline V12 or SCPH 700012 ps2. I used the magic switch and load the Swap Magic 3.6. After the load screen appears and I open the lid it says Insert bigger TOC disc then after I put the game, US or JAP, it will say invalid PS2 disc. The thing is that if I put in an original US game it will run by clicking X even though the message appears. But if it is the Japanese game it won't run it. It seems like it wants to run it but stops. What is the problem? I even read the answers in the backup section but they don't apply to my case, specially since my japanese game isn't a backup. BTW all the tools are inserted correctly I can even play my original US game with the lid open. Thanks and I hope you can help.

toc refresh doesnt work on some slimline version.

so is there a way for me to play japanese games using Swap Magic? By the way I just noticed that the message "insert bigger TOC disc" doesn't appear when I open the lid which I never really close but when I pick up the disc.
