Can I unlock A900 samsung for nextel use?

If I purchased the Samsung A900 and unlocked it would it work with nextel? Thanks

The A900 is "CDMA" technology, and will not work with Nextel's "IDEN"
technology. I know it's confusing with the merger, but in this case the company is still operating both networks independantly.
