Is there anyway of proving that. When i opened up nero and put in a dvdr, it said to put in a blank sumthing or another, then when i put in a cd-r it worked. So is there any way of knowing if my computer does really read my dvdr?

What DVD writer do you have? If you have a DVD-R/RW writer (like Pioneer) you can't use DVD+R/RW media.

Title changed (Only me and some others can do this, so don't try!)

I was wondering what you were on about ;)

All is not lost (well with regards to your last post, pehaps it is!) but you can make your DVDs into VCDs, only trouble is, if you don't even have a DVD reader, then you are stuck :0

Paul.

If DVD writers cost $70 then that would be incredible. Sadly they cost a litte more ;-)
