i jsut got DragonBall Z: Budokai Tenkaichi pal version and its awsome when i backed it up on my ps2 hard drive it works but some times it frezes and in single player mode (story mode) it frezes a lot and im getting sick of this does any one no how to convert this game to the ps2 hard drive and play it of the hard drive without it frezing a lot? please help me out i really want to paly this game without frezing, thankyou.


i have a pal ps2 i have ps2 hard drive advance 3.0 and a hard drive

i dont understand what you mean please explain. all i did was puted the cd in playstation and converted it and the game laods but frezes a lot and i converted it many time but same thing and i even converted it with DVD Decrypter and sent it to ps2 with hdl dump from pc and steel frezes is there naything els i can do i would really like to play this off hard drive without frezing

Is your HD compatible with your HD Advance? It could be a compatiblity issue with DBZ Tenkaichi and your HD. Have you tried booting it in all three modes?

yes i have tried booting in all 3 modes and in mode 2 it wont even run the game but in mdoe 1 and 3 it runs the game but steel frezes a lot

You could try rebuilding the iso. According to the compatibility lists, the PAL DBZT does work with HD Advance.

Instructions to Gnie's Tool ExPERT From Paddymail:

Here's how to use it.. it might not work for all games though.

Open the program.

1. Select the Shrinker_ps2_psp_CdDvd5_iso.epi on the plugins drop down list.
2. Select the iso you want to rebuild.
3. Click extract LBA.
4. Click extract file and wait for it to finish.
5. Click rebuild file and wait for it to finish.
6. Click rebuild LBA.
7. Burn the new iso with Nero or DVD Decrypter as usual.

oh jsut got another question after i rebuild the game and burn it to a cd/dvd thats the rebuilt game right but then i cant convert it to ps2 because my ps2 is not moded it cant read coppys so im going to have to make it a iso again on the computer and send it with hdd dump if i do that is the game steel rebuilt or will it make no diffrence?

Once you rebuild the game and burn it disc, use DVD Decrypter to rip it back your HD. The resulting iso will be rebuilt. Then transfer to the game to your PS2 HD with HDL Dumb or Winhiip as normal.

i rebuilt the game did all that stuff you said and it steel frezes it didnt make any difrence :( i read somewere using one of the latest version of harddrive loader it will work but i dont no what hard drive loader is. i have hard drive advance were can i get harddrive loader from?

ok i downlaoded HDLoader 7C - ISO - DVD so what do i do with it now i sent it to my hd but when i run it with hd advance i click on the hd loader the screen goes balck and nothing happens am i doing it wrong or something?

I think you need Swap Magic or a modchip to boot it. I don't think you can simply copy it to your HD and boot it from there. Double check the compatibility lists I posted namely this one: http://list.ps2hd.com/ I know it says you can play the PAL DBZ Budokai Tenkiachi with HDA 3.0. Truth be told, I could never understand that list. I could never find a key for all the different symbols.
