Hiya all,

I'm very new to this game, so everything will need to be explained to me.

I'm interested in converting DVD files to *.avi or *.divx or something that can be viewed in Media Player.

I'm not too worried about loss of quality or the file size (either large or small).

What programs / hardware / system specs do I need?

Please help me!

There is a piece of software called DVD2AVI, which you can download here:

Although there might be a newer version now!
