I have a slimline ps2 with the extra metal piece in place to block people from using Swap devices...but supposedly the MK2 is designed to get around this piece. I'm having trouble figuring out where part 3 goes, parts 1 and 2 were easy. Here's the directions I was using: http://www.ps2-solutions.co.uk/tutorials/install_key2.jpg

Anyone have any suggestions on how to insert part 3?

I could suggest where you should insert part 3, but unlike you I know better than to use obscenities when requesting assistance.

search google
What type of advice is that?

Search google? How do you think people get to these forums? Let's be a little more informative if we're giving info, because the conduct of one member can reflect on the whole site..

I have to agree with Glitched, people seem to be too lazy to look first.

It only takes a minute to try a Google (or whatever) search and most of the time the question has been asked somewhere already.

Yeah it's not that I'm lazy...I've googled everything imaginable on this topic. I just cannot figure it out. That's why I'm in these forums asking for advice. And also, I didn't know about the swearing. I apologize.

Any help on the original topic?

Wow a lot of useless replies in this thread. Try using a tape and tissue mod.

7. Q. What do I need to use Swap Magic?
A. With Slim PS2 v.12-14
Flip top: http://www.chipzone.com/installation/playstation2/fliptop-v12/pag...
Magickeys (also referred to as slide tool, slim tool or, magic switch): http://magickeys.net/
or tape and tissue mod: From Pretense: If the fliptop doesn't work, just give up on it and do a tape and tissue mod. Open up your case again and tape the back sensor (toward the upper left and beneath the hinge part of the lid) with duct tape or even regular Scotch tape (I use several layers to be on the safe side), put the case back together, and stuff a small ball of tissue into the hole for the front sensor (lower right just above the power button).
Pics (Thanks to PSPness): http://www.geocities.com/pstwoslimline/tapetissue.htm
my tape and more tape

Just about the same, just a change on Censor 'A' and Censor 'B'

Censor B - http://img393.imageshack.us/img393/572/dsc010703xc.jpg
keep the top closed, while you tape down the disk stopper, using a few layers of duct tape
Fur
Censor A - http://img393.imageshack.us/img393/4342/dsc010698we.jpg
use tiny strips of duct tape to patch over the tiny censor. I used a screwdriver to help put on the tape.

Here's some additional pictures (Thanks to xhardc0re): http://www.console.com/product_ps2_pstwofix.php
