I have burned a DVD with the "choose recorder" option set to automatic and DVD ROM and the DVDs I recorded to, register as DVD+R on Nero info CD/DVD and on DVDidentifier. What I'm trying to do is turn my DVD+R to DVD ROM.

1.) Firstly, you have to make sure that your writer can bitset/booktype.
1.a.) If it can: Newer versions of Nero have a booktyping option.

2.)If your version of Nero does not include booktyping: Upgrade your Nero.
2.a.) Use this http://www.dvdinfopro.com/

When evolution selects its agents, it does so at a cost, makes demands in exchange for singularity, and you may be asked to do something against your very nature. This force, evolution, is not sentimental. Like the Earth itself, it knows only the hard facts of life's struggle with death. All you can do is hope and trust that when you have served its needs faithfully, there may still remain some glimmer of the life you once knew.

Yea it does support booktype setting http://www.cdrinfo.com/Sections/Reviews/Specific.aspx?ArticleId=1...

I've upgraded my Nero to 6.6.0.18
I've just got DVDInfoPro (And I don't know what to do with it) as in making it change my DVD's bitsetting from DVD+R to -> DVD ROM

It's easier to do it with Nero (though, having DVDInfoPro is useful when using burning programs that don't have the booktyping option built in.). Here is the options screen for Nero when you're getting ready to write to DVD.

Here is a link for help with DVDInfoPro: http://club.cdfreaks.com/showthread.php?t=96514

cheers

Two questions:

1.)Are you trying to make a multisession disc?
2.)What file type are you trying to write to disc?

Not to sound like a jerk. But, you're using one or the other and not both programs at the same time, right?
