My disc tray has come off that little bar. When you place it back in position it only moves like half way in and then the bar just moves.

When taking the photos. I noticed that its changed. Now the tray will go fully in but is 'spat out' when it goes out.

Right here is the disc tray apart from the ps2

Here is the disc tray replaced in the correct place in the PS2
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v507/01bolandn/IMAG00701.jpg

When I press on and the disc tray goes in its fine - like this
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v507/01bolandn/IMAG00702.jpg

But if I press eject its spat out - like this

Incase you can't see its just moved a little too far out and has come off the rails.

Any ideas how I can stop this?

Regards,
Nic

I think your ps2 has died... im sorry man it was a good ps2.
You could try to get repaired or just buy a new one.
Or you could wait a few more days to see if this thread get the attention you need.

I think the little tab on the white gear is broke. The one on the bottom right in the last pic. It has a tab to stop the tray from going out all the way.
