to anyone who can help,

not sure if this is the right forum for this thread if not sorry in advance....
to make a long story short which software can i use to turn dvd files i.e vid&aud ts into avi files.
i know how to go avi to vid&aud ts via VSO is there software to back the other way just as easy?

I'm not sure that I understand your question could you be a little more clear. Are you trying to convert other file types to DVD?

i wanted to know which software would be easiest to convert a dvd movie (movie only) to an AVI file(s) to store on my xbox. i would rather store the movie in 700mb rather than 3-4 gigs

There are a number of methods but none are easier than Vidomi using XviD and they're free.
