First of all guys ... Thanks... I have used information from this site to hook my USB HD to my PS2 (75000). It works great for most of the games with swap magic 3 and without opening the console.
Ok for games (such as god of war) which require cdloader v7.. I am not sure what to do? I know this that it has to be loaded in between SM and the backup game. But I cant do that as my PS2 is not modded or I havent installed the magic switch etc...
how to load cdloader? Can I load the cdloader on my USB HD?

Yes,
Get keylauncher, UlaunchELF etc, and grab the cdloader.elf file and run it from there.
