I'm trying to decide which one to get.
What are the pro/con's of these 2? I know crystal makes it easier to play online. how does that work?

If you like to play online Crystal Chip is the way to go. Both are great chips, you will not go wrong with either.

the only reason i got the ps2 instead of the xbox is because i can play online after modding it. xbox live is gay. u need to pay for it, and if u mod it, u can't use it anymore. gay

does the crystal chip support dual layer dvd's?

and also, my ps2 is NTSC, and so is my tv. do i need to convert PAL games with this chip?
