DMA vs PIO Problem

Suspended due to non-functional email address

Recently, the DVD drive I use for ripping has reverted from DMA mode to PIO mode making my rips take forever.

I've rebooted but that didn't make it switch back to DMA mode. This problem seems to have started about 5 days ago.

Any suggesztions for forcing it to DMA mode? Thanks in advance for your help.

deleat your secondary ide controller then reboot your computer windows will reinstall your controlers and reset to dma
