i just bought a dms4 lite modchip and not the dms4 lite se modchip.I didnt realise that my console was a version 14 scph 75001-one of the downsides of buying the console of the net.I was just wondering if the chip will be compatible with the v14.it hasnt arrived yet.

The only thing about the V14 and the DMS4 Lite, you will have to upgrade chip through memory card.

I'm assuming they mean you'll have to flash the bios of the chip through the memory card?

good god!i have no clue what that means.but...if they mean i have to flash the bios then that means the dms4 lite(not Lite SE) isnt realy compatible with the version 14 isnt it?

ok.i did some research on the dms site and according to them i'm gonna have to dload an application and put it on my memory card.then using dev1 mode on the chips software thingy i'm gonna have to upgrade the chip.However i am unclear on how i'm supposed to get that file onto the memory card.can someone help?

you gonna need an older ps2 with a dms installed to put it on memory card
