I have a slim ps2 with the filptop and swap magic. I've had it for several months without any problems, until today. I played last night without a problem, then today i go to turn it on and the disk doesn't spin at all nor does the laser move back and forth. the ps2 goes right to the browser screen. is my laser bad or maybe the motor that moves it back and forth? any help would be great, thanks.

Don't panic! First u need to check all the fuse on the back of the mainboard. Check with a multimeter.

well i took it all apart and put everything back together, tightened all teh screws, etc, and it worked. i was pretty drunked up the night before i must have stepped on it or dropped it and jarred soemthign loose. but back to good so i'm happy.
