What does this mean and is there any way around it?

DVD Shrink encountered an error and cannot continue.
Failed to read file "F:/"
Data error (cycle redundancy check)

What movie are you trying to back up, this could be a protection that Shrink is unable to do, or a dirty/damaged disk in which case you can try cleaning it or taking it back and get another original.

Out of five seasons of OZ I have one disc that just won't copy. I am wondering if maybe it is to scratched up. It seems like if your player will play it,that you could copy it also.

Players are a lot more forgiving, you may be able to play it but that does not mean it does not have a scratch, fingermark, dirt or imperfection in or on the disk. Try ripping it to your HDD with either DVD Decrypter or DVD FabDecrypter and then process with Shrink. If you get the same error ripping you more than likely have a bad disk, if the disk rips it may be the protection.

I've backed up all seasons of Oz with no problems, nothing special on these discs. Do as arniebear suggests.
