No power... DMS4 EZI PRO install

Opened up my V9 to figure out which type of DSP I had, but was not intending to install it yet so I rebuilt the unit. And now, it doesn't power on. I don't have the chip installed or anything, but I am not sure what key areas I should be taking a closer look at-- everything looks fine. Everything looks securely connected, but nothing happens when I plug the power adapter back in. Any suggestions, or did I end up killing my PS2? Thanks.

did you plug the power connector back onto the power supply? it's the black/white wire that plugs on the outside edge of the board.

more than likely the ps2 isnt grounding properly this is assuming you have done what KC suggested and checked the black and white wire connecter has been plugged back in first.

No idea. I'm pretty sure its dead so I gave up-- I got a used one (another V9) and installed the EZI pro no problem... all I wanted to do is play Shadow of the Colossus and now all is good... thanks for the suggestions though.

my ps2 is doing the same thing but not due to modchip install. how would i "ground it properly?"
