Nothing I've ever used compares to Freewares DVD Shrink, and DVD Decrypter. I also use AnyDVD in conjunction with either or and never missed a backup. DVD X Copy was nice when it came out, but was overhyped. The aforementioned is the way to go. If you don't want to pay and want to stay with free stuff. DVD43 is pretty good to use, it's just like AnyDVD, but I'm not too sure how often they update.
I have used 1 Click DVD Pro quite a bit and so have some of my friends and we all like it just as much as DVD Shrink, it does all the same the things as DVD Shrink but it copies and burns with the same clarity but in much lesss time than DVD Shrink, I made a backup copy of Hitch in a total of 15mins 10secs using 1 Click DVD Pro
