yamada drv8000 dvd rw recorder

hi my yamada dvr8000 drive is frezzing up halfway through every dvd it plays bak on it,, i did remove the top to player cus i though it was dirty lens but upon opening it it up i found a actima dvd+r/rw drive model adrw-h00p inside,, would it b possible to gets a new burner to replace it its identical to a burner u would fit into a pc,, n if so would a daul dvd+r/rw/-r/-rw drive work in side if i connected it up
i kno its a cheap way instead of sending it to b repaired by qualified person,, buts wat is it coming to wen u buy equipment u dont exspect to have the lame cheapest parts in sides wen spending a lotta moniez lol

if anyone can help i would b grateful

do i just change drive or buy new recorder hence which option best
