Hello. Not sure if this is the right forum but i was looking to Copy-protect a movie i have made. Im going to be putting it on a DVD but i want it to be able to be played on DVD players. Its a .img that i have succesfully burnt and played. I was going to use Alchohol 120% and use Securrom (4.x/5x.). Will this work or should i do something else? Thanks

Cannot copy protect DVDR. Mount the dvd. Double click "My Computer" and click the "Folders" button on the toobar. Go down to your dvd drive which you mounted the DVD on and click it. Does it show files? If so, they should be VOB or VTS then your image is of a DVD and will play. If you click on the drive and you have two folders; AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS. then it's still a DVD and will play. If you click on it and the video is something else, you may need to convert it to DVD. An image is just a duplication of whatever it was created from made into a file which can be burned. Once burned, it isn't that image file anymore, it's now whatever it was before the image was made. Hope this all makes sense.
