Well, i'm getting pretty addicted to this place, and since i just discovered Safety Valve i'll give my contribution to it...

Hobbies. People in here do seem to know a lot about everything... But apart from burning and listening to music what do people do when out and about?

Right now, i have no choice but to dedicate myself to sit my ass in this chair in front of this pc, but to be honest as much as i like watching films and burning disks, i'd rather go out on a blast on my (gone now) CBR! Or maybe play some football with the old croud by the lake...

Not to mention copy my sig... lol

@Glitched

I got married! For a while i wasn't even allowed to have my net connection... Kids came along as well which made it worse. Last year i came back on the site with a prob and kinda got stuck. I blame Creaky, Alkohol and DocTY for this addiction. They were the ones who made me realize that if i got help, i should pay it back.

Yeah mate, a lot changed since i first got registered...

aD is becoming something of hobbie in and of itself. I love hiking and camping. I play classical piano and organ. My real passion is painting and drawing but they don't use the term "starving artist" for nothing so I work as a social worker.

This site is becoming a hobby for me too. At first i came here to figure out why memorex disc were causing problems. Duh.. Then i started trying to help ppl with problems. Now i hang out in the Nero forum and fix things there if i can. When AD isn't enough, and i need to let off some steam, i go 4 wheeling in my Jeep. Yeah, i like to chase and be chased by the honnies, but that doesn't happen often enough for me :). Women can be a hobby, but you can get in to trouble pretty fast there. Had a 21 yr old girlfriend for a few months, yeah, im a dirty old man, but hey 21 is legal.. :)

@MaxBurn

There's nothing wrong with 21 year olds... They are still within my age range (i'm 27). But they are datable anyway! Problems? I get problems from my ex... And she is older than that!

@Daniel_G

I love firearms... But i can't even have a plastic BB gun here in the UK!! It's terrible! We have the wrong lobbies in this place!!

permiggs,
I feel for you about those firearms laws. They were very bad when i was there. My home defense weapon when i lived there was a 150lb crossbow, and a machette, with a boot knife as backup. That crossbow bolt would go straight thru a solid wood door. I lived in a sort of rough neighborhood. Not all of the UK was/is like that. Had a 5 cell metal flashlight that came in handy for more than light on a few occasions..
Here in the US, i've got lots of guns. Probably enough for a swat team attack if i were in the UK. Here its all legal. I used to be a firearms instructor, handguns, rifles, shotguns, and shot pistol and rifle competition. Don't shoot much anymore. I'll let killer kitty handle the CMCs with his AK.

I like long walks on the beach, with the sunset on the horizon and the gentle sounds of the oceans waves crashing at my feet. I also like clubbing baby seals, burning bags of poo on ppls front door step and ripping the labels off mattresses.

Locoeng,
Too funny man.. You have a sick sense of humor,, and i like it :)
How about this old one. Going to stange and distant lands, learning different cultures and languages, meeting new and intersting ppl, and killing them. Might have been a Marine recruitment slogan...
I wanna be an airborn ranger.. jump out of planes and laugh in the face of danger...

Permiggs, i keep hearing that, i find it amusing that even though there only a few measily miles between Holland and the UK, thte laws on firearms are complete opposites.
