Hey,
I have searched through the forums and could not find a solution to the current problem I have. I have an hard modded xbox and tried upgrading the hard drive. i bought a 300gb seagate hdd and cannot get it to install the full amount. I am using slayers 2.6 for the install. Does anyone know of where I can find a solution to this problem. I read in the forums that people could not get other seagate drives in their computer to get over 140 GBs. Do I have to install the hard drive to a computer before I can put it in my hard drive. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

Get EVtool(if using evox bios) or XBtool (or something like that, if using something else) to reconfigure you bios. after you reconfigure the bios and reflash the chip you should be able to see all your HDD space spread out into two or more partitions.


where it saysLBA48 Support and Default Partition Table Options, let partition 6 take up 137 and give the rest to partition 7.

go here and make sure that you bios supports LBA48, if not get one that does.

Could also be that the G drive isn't formated and/or enabled in the settings.

Thanks for the comments. i finally figured it out and it was so easy. What I ended up doing was flashing the bios using the slayer's auto installer cd. Took like 10 seconds. Then I reformatted my hard drive using slayer's. Installed the apps and now I have 300 gbs worth of space.
