Without AnyDVD or DVD43 it will not copy protected movies. It will only copy non copy protected or data dvd's by itself. With the 7 version in the copy module you have the disc copy - insert disc let it copy and when done will burn to a dvd. If using one drive it will prompt you to insert a blank. Warning though it will burn at max speed (not advised) unless you change the burned settings in tools>options>advanced. Change it under 'select drive speed'.

Its not what you did, but what you're attempting to do. "It wont let me copy a video by netflix" is piracy. Unless of course you purchased the movie from netflix and are now trying to make a backup of your own movie. If thats the case then I apologize for any implications. :) As far as the program, dont know much about it, cant be of any help

Probably the easiest thing to do is download DVD Shrink. You can have DVD43 running in the backgound. This will rip to your hd and compress the movie to fit on a disc. When you click back up in shrink in the target device tab select iso file image. This will make an iso file that you can then open and burn with sonic.
Here's a guide to use shrink and a link to download it is in the guide:

I would also highly recommend checking out the rest of this site:
http://home.comcast.net/~bbmayo/index.html
It will give you guides, useful tips and links to download the software needed.
Sonic is a pretty basic prog - at least the one I have is. A lot of the software listed in the above link is free and easy to use.
