Hi everybody. I'm new to the boards so excuse me if this has been asked befor. I did some searching and couldn't find anything related to it.

With the recent update of ATI MMC, I've started using my P4-2.6 w/ ATI AIW9800 to do some DVRing. I'm up to recording maybe 5 hours a day. A lot of the stuff I like to hold on to, and even transcode for iPod use. I like to remove the commercials from the stuff that I keep, and do so really easily with Pinnacle Studio 8.

I've been looking around but haven't seen any options for it. Does Studio 8 have any batch encoding abilities or command line execution? It takes me all of about 3 min to set up projects to have commercials removed, but about 10-15 min to encode each show...something that could easily be done while I'm at work.

If studio 8 doesn't do it, is there something out there that does?
