Sorry in advance. I know this is in the wrong forum but noone there will respond with the info that i need. hopefully I get better results here. I am trying to backup an entire movie with extra using dvd decrypter, dvd2one and recordnow max. I read that this can be done with the new version of dvd2one with the full disc option. Yet when I rip the entire movie with decrypter and do the full option with dvd2one it does one of 2 things. doesnt compress it anywhere close or actually makes it larger then the original file. could someone please tell me step by step what i have to do.

I have read a forum on here on how to make an entire movie with the older version of dvd2one and ifoedit but i cant get it to work either. I am not new to this i have backed up 100+ of my own movies with just the movie but I want to see the quality of the entire movie ripped from 8gig to 4.36 like lord of the rings. thanks

rip the whole disc in file mode.

take out the main movie vobs with its corresponding ifo and put it in a different folder.

work out the amount left in the original folder and take it away from 4472 (take a little more of just incase, this is your mb you need to type in dvd2one.

run dvd2one on the main vobs( dont forget to type in the number you just worked out).

when its finished put the vobs only back in with the original folder plus put the original ifo back in with the original. ( if the vob set was not 01 you need to rename them back to what they was).

now you need ifoupdate, open it up and put it in adjusted cell mode, the rest is self explanitary.

job done.

any probs let me know.
