hey, If anyone needs help with their xbox whether it be modding help or help fixing up a failed mod, reply to this thread with your AIM or msn messenger address (i prefer msn as i use it more often) and a brief explination of what went wrong/ what you want to do and I will try to get back to you, however i will help people in the order that they reply to me, as the saying goes: "the early bird gets the worm".

It's actually a Microsoft Passport account that is tied to my Yahoo Email address. This is something they've started doing recently. jslabotsky@yahoo.com

I downloaded Slayer's autoinstaller. While booted into the CD's dashboard, I deleted all the files on drive C: and then copied the MS dash from the CD. I'm now error-free and have been using Live without problems (I do not have a softmod installed right now).
If I can find time I'll run through it again and write down the exact steps. Deleting the files was kinda scary.
One issue I ran into is the Live update kept failing. I finally figured out there wasn't enough free space on E:. After I deleted everything I could live without it updated just fine.

iwas told I need slayer evo-x cd where can I find this and burn it? is there bettter out there I need to lock a new hd in myxbox Iwas told this is what I need.Ican run a cd like evo since my hd is unlocked?I found a bud who says if I buy an x ice chip he will install it for me.or could I install a executer2.6 my self?
