@mikehende, as Jeanc1 said there are other progs available but I dont think they can be used as easily in conjunction with your WinFast card. I am assuming that you still will be capturing your VCR files to H/D in mpeg format and then burning to DVD.
I would continue to use Nero as I feel it's still the best for this type of project.
As an alternative you can look at TMPGEnc, heres a guide

further guides can be found under the Guides Tab above.

Since I can't find an answer to my problem as described in my other thread, I am left with only 2 options as far as I can see, try another burning software or try another type of DVD beside the Taiyo Yuden, I will try the first option as the 2nd option will mean that I am left with 50 useless blanks. If I have the same problem with another burning software then I will try another type of blank, maybe Maxell or Sony this time, will keep you guys up to speed in that other thread.

p.s. The leadtek card is only used only for Capturing so I don't see how this will affect DVD burning no matter which software I use? Please explain, thanks.

@ mikehende. to answer your question. CopyToDVD, probably the best burning application outthere.

Nero Recode2 or Shrink using deep analysis and AEC/ fabdecrypter or anydvd running in the background/ IMGBurn to burn/main movie only mode= perfect.

Hi there,

I use VSO CopyToDVD to do all my burning, and still use Nero Burning Rom once in a while...
