Kazaa Slow....... PLEASE HELP!

I cannot get Kazaa to download songs at more than 1.00 kb/sec (usually btw .01 and .5). I have cable internet access and have no problem connecting to the internet or downloading from other sources. When I downloaded the actual Kazaa program, it took less than 30 seconds, but will not work for file sharing. I am dying to download music, and am in desperate need of help. PLEASE respond if you know anything!

my speed is good and maybe the speed is affected by different area as I suppose!
but eMule is too slow too bare just as your kazaa!
I'm wondering.

The problem is most likley not Kazaa, your connection, or Kazaa's website where you downloaded the program (Kazaa p2p client). It is most likley that the sources that you are downloading from have slower connections, or are already using up a lot of their own bandwidth as other users pull files from them. Kazaa works by allowing users to access the files on eachother's computers, rather than from a central server. So even if your own connection is very fast, you may be downloading files from a user that does not have an equally as fast connection, or that many other users are already downloading from. Also check that there are not a lot of users downloading files FROM you. I have noticed (particularly on DSL connections) that uploading will drag down the speed of uploads.
