What is the Top BEST media to burn to that has a good life and works well with the DMS4 series?

Actually, i'll have to agree with WEStar, if you had just done a little looking around in the right forum (and it's a pretty obvious one, it's called the PS2 DVD FORUMS) you would have found the answer immediately

But, i'll answer your question, just to show you i don't mean to offend, just to inform : The best media (according to about 90% of the members in these parts of the forum) would be Taiyo Yuden (has to say "made in Japan") followed by Verbatim, Ritek, and the like. As for +r or -r, that's up to your ps2, some work just as well with + as -, but if you don't want to take any risks, stick with -r, they allways work.

One well ment advice on the side, calling another forum member arrogant will not make you many friends around here, especially since a lot of seniors will agree with WEStar's stance, so take your own advice and chill out.

I am sure I would have, I came on once and found it, just forgotten the brand and really wanted to know from someone that used the product. ( I dont post on here to argue though ) I have been on this board off and on for the last 2 years or so just reading around. I am very interest inlearning more about these chips and install 1 for myself. Thanks for your help. I'm sure WEStar is harmless. I wouldnt post a reply like that. He could have said " you can also do a search as this has already been discussed " But, no matter Thanks man.

If you're gonna get a DMS 4, make sure you are really confident of your soldering skills man, or have someone who has some hardcore soldering skills do it, it's not as easy as it might seem.

As for the WEStars reply, i can't speak for him, but i know from my own experiences that seeing a question pop up that has been answered many, many times, can be really frustrating, and sometimes it just gets the best of you, and you just post something that's less friendly than usual. I'd say stick around here, see for yourself, and you'll probably come to understand why the seniors and addicts act like that sometimes.
