is there a way that i can connect my xbox hard drive to the pc and then put the linux file for splinter cell in it and put it back into my xbox and it will work? is that possible? because i cannot ftp it. Thanks

Yes, it is called HotSwapping. There is a tutorial on xbox-scene.com it is a very helpful way, also you will need HDD_Driver
