Dumping taking away space on my Memory card?

I've noticed that the amount f space on my Memory card is not the same as the space it tells me when i check my files for my PSP on my PC. I think it is to do with dumping. On my 2GB memory card I am using up 1.2GB, but only have 250mb space left. The emulaters and everything else only take up like 10-20mb of pace.

So i'm left wondering. Wheres the rest of my space gone?
I thin its when I dump on FastLoader. It must eat my space or somthing. Or mabey I choose the wrong dumping option for the amount on the Iso?

Try to reformat you memory stick. Make sure back up all data. After formating, check to see how much free space it has.
