Hello all! i'M Mike. new to the sight, hope to talk with most of yah, anyways, i have a prob..

ok, heres what happened, I was playing socom 3 online (on a used slim ps2 I bought at gamestop"about 6 months old, rarely played"), a friend came over and said that we should go out, we went out and I decided to leave my ps2 online, which i have done a couple times before. it was about 4 hours that passed, come home and it was locked up, i turn it off and turn it on. nothing happens. it goes to the browser screen. i notice the 10th time turning it off and on that the game doesnt even spin. so the next step i take is i take out the memory card and goto browse, it pops up (THERE IS NO DATA).. wth! i really dont have the money till friday to buy a new one, but i have nothing to do now that i have broken up with my G/F.. so any questions or tips on what to do! this is my first slim ps2 and my older ps2 i sold for a couple bux to buy this one, it was a ps2 from the very first shipment from the first release. my email is i'manidiot.com edited by ddp PLEASE HELP!! while i'm sure that last reply will get you banned for talking to a mod like that, show a little respect to them, there here to help YOU.......yoru V12 crashed and it fried the laser when it did, the only fix is a new laser. and on the V12 especialy, install a laser fix to prevent this from happening again.
