I need to unlock an Xbox HDD, but I cannot access its file structure. I cannot boot any dash, or any mod. It is softmodded. I need to unlock the HDD, and I don't have the eeprom. Is there any way to unlock it, say, with xboxhdm, if I don't have the eeprom?

I have the same problem. I had a 300 GB drive in my xbox. Well I know you can get the key through the dashboard. My problem is that my xbox got fried and the motherboard is shot. Is there anyway to unlock this drive so that I can use it in either a PC or another XBOX? And no i dont have the old motherboard anymore. So I can't solder the chip onto another motherboard.
