My original dvd doesn't allow me to change the audio track during playback (i.e. Moulin Rouge). Same thing with the backups (complete or movie-only copies).I've been using dvd2one. In this particular case, is there any way to make a movie-only backup where I can switch audio streams during playback using only the remote control? Do I have to modify the vob. files? Please help me and sorry for being so ignorant.Thanks.

Maybe it's your player, I can change audio tracks anytime on originals or copies.

Well, thanks, but I know it's not my dvd players (I have 2)or my pc (I use Powerdvd and WinDVD). The Original and the backups behave the same way. With or without the menus.

Ah then it must be locked out on the disc.
Run it through IFOedit and do remove P-UP's

which will remove the locking out of certain functions on the remote

All i get is a warning telling me that there are no P-UOP's in the ifo. Do you know about any "VOB Extras" functions that i should try? Or any other method? Thanks.
