Heya there...

I am looking to backup one of my PAL region 2 movies. And i am going to New York for a holiday very soon to visit my girlfriend again.

I told her i would bring a copy of the movie to watch over there and i was wondering how i would burn it so she can watch it on her NTSC region 1 dvd player.

Any help appreciated!

You can try to convert from PAL to NTSC. In addition to above advice there are many threads on this subject, just use the search feature. The best results are obtiained by buying a DVD player that will play both PAL and NTSC formats. They are readily available and quite inexpensive.
