Im trying to make a back up copy of my FLIGHT PLAN dvd, and when i insert it, and start up DVD SHRINK, when i go to "back up" the dvd, it says "ENCOUNTERED AN ERROR... FAILED TO READ D DRIVE...COPY PROTECTION ERROR, FAILED TO READ B/C SECTOR IS ENCRYPTED"....now what do i do???

@Blondie Hola, Hey try downloading the 21 day trial of AnyDVD and use it in conjunction with shrink it should make a big difference for ya and at the end of the trial period the small purchase price for lifetime updates is well worth your efforts... AnyDVD runs in the background and removes protections when you insert the dvd into your drive you can then proceed to make a backup of your dvd from there..Here is a link to ScubaPetes page for awesome guidence to dvd backups..http://www.dvdplusvideo.com/tutorial007.html

hi!i downloaded the AnyDVD and now the video is actually "encoding" in shrink!!!! hopefully ill be able to save it when its done and have no problems once i get to the decrypter/burn part!!! thanks for the website.....do you know how much it is? i didnt notice a price, thanks!

do you know of any good sites to download the dvd covers/backs? i know cdcovers.cc is ok, but any other free sites with them? thanks...and one more question :) is there any site to download movies??? i dont mind paying for them, but ive paid for 2 sites already, and i keep getting the run around on trying to find the downloads. I just want a site where i can go purchase the downloads for a very small fee....know of any?

when it was at about 34% it said it encountered an error, and something about not enough memory in a file???? what do i do....?

If you have DvdDecrypter go to mode/ file/select all then click disc to drive image puts it on your HD. close DvdD when done open Shrink click on open files look for your movie click ok shrink takes over. If that dosen't work. Try VobBlanker. The easy way is set source as your movie folder from DvdD then set target, at the bottom click on process, let it do it's thing. Then close it down and open shrink look for your new folder. Then shrink should be able to handle it.
