ok this stupid i know but if i put a mod chip in my xbox and put a unlock harddrive that is all ready formated for a xbox will it work

How do you format the HDD? IT will work if you format in UNIX. Well we have a bunch of autoinstaller disks out there. You can download one. It has the option to format HDD.

First, The 8GB hard drive for $10 is expensive. And your xbox already has 8GB HDD. So why do buy that one? Why dont you use the HDD in your xbox?
