Hello all, I have been reading and learning alot on this forum and I must say, it has been one of the most helpful one I've seen. But, I've searched and can not find an answer for my problem. I hope someone has any ideas.
I recently updated the firmware on my dmr-e80h to version: D9-022, from panasonic's website. It is supposed to help with newer blank dvd compatibility. I went through all of the steps exactly. Now it will recognize more discs, but get this: after I finalize a disc and as soon as I press ok when its done, I get a message on screen that says "This Disc Is Incompatible". Pretty weird. So I tried the disc a few different players, and it works fine. Now no disc that I finalized with the panasonic will work on the same panasonic. It just dosen't recognize anything that it made, but it plays other discs fine.
I spoke with their service people after being on hold for 45 mins and their not really tech support, I guess. He said he couldn't help me and he has never heard of a problem like that before. So, any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
