I was able to dump and convert ghost in the shell from my bros umd. it works on my 1.50 but i cannot read the menus and other texts. anyone know why, and how to fix this prob?

thats weird. it SHOULD work. if you're using UMD Emulator 0.8c, its quite easy to use, so i wouldnt have an idea... :S

try it on another psp, if possible. or see if you can find another backup of it.

the black screen happens so some new games. eg. i cant load street fighter alpha 3. its cauz it needs more to be done to it so it is able to run. have a read around and you'll know what im talkin about.

i would think so too. cauz i had a list of ISOs that work on v1.5, and says what kinda emulation it needs. it says it needs no emulation at all, and should be fine as an ISO.

my ghost in the shell which i havent played yet came with another folder that was supposed to go in the root folder. Did anyone have this as well?

oh mine is a folder called f1 and im supposed to put it in the root folder of my psp and turn flash emulation on when i run umdemulator. i would upload the folder for you but my hosting site is acting dumb right now..

Copy F1 folder only to ROOT DIR of memstick. (This is where it says removable directory)
Run UMD Emulator DONT START THE GAME YET
hit the UP arrow and go to where it says Flash1 Emulation
Turn Flash1 Emulation ON

If text doesnt appear, go reset system default (ONCE ONLY ) Then fix ur settings name, network etc etc...
Then run UMD emulator again with Flash1 setting ON.
